RetroGear is Europe’s first Circular & Slow Tech shop with a clear focus on retro handhelds. We combine sustainable tech with more mindful choices in gaming. From original Game Boys to brand-new emulation handhelds, we’re building a better future for retro tech.
We’re based in the Netherlands, but we ship to customers all across Europe: Ireland, Lithuania, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Germany, Belgium, France and, of course, the Netherlands.
What we do
At RetroGear you’ll find both new emulation handhelds and refurbished, modded Game Boys. We refurbish, upgrade, mod and build devices for people who care about character and quality. Every device gets a second or even third life with better screens, batteries, fresh shells and custom buttons, all put together with care.
And this matters: devices you buy from us, new or refurbished, can later be traded in again. That way we prevent waste and keep the whole cycle moving.
Circular & Slow Tech
For us, circular means repair, reuse and upgrade. We extend the lifespan of hardware and prevent unnecessary waste.
Slow Tech is about using technology more consciously: devices that last, are repairable and invite you to slow down and enjoy that nostalgic playtime properly.
